Backyard Sports’ programming for children with special needs has been named a 2015 Top 5 Family Favorite by Westchester Family Magazine
Readers of Westchester Family Magazine were asked to name their Family Favorites across 37 categories. Thousands of parents weighed in and Backyard Sports was honored as a Top 5 Favorite in the category of “Special Needs Recreation Programs.”
“This type of acknowledgement from parents for our Backyard Sports Plus program is beyond gratifying,” said Danny Bernstein, founder and president of Backyard Sports and Backyard Sports Cares. “We are so grateful to the community, our exceptional coaches and teen volunteers who drive this program, and the parents and children that flourish through participation in the team sports options we offer.”
